Gezeitentogether with the packaging manufacturer corpack, has won the award iF Design Award of this year in the packaging category for the solution of zero packaging waste “Skincare for the New Age”. It has been the winner among nearly 11.000 submissions from 56 countries.
El refillable cosmetic jar convinced the independent jury of experts with its innovative aesthetic, which reflects Gezeiten's aspirations for a seamless product and brand experience. Corpack together with the customer Gezeiten, built and supervised the implementation and development of the packaging to a technically feasible and production-ready state.
Corpack developed a refill system for the bottle without changing the external shape. The packaging solves the challenge of sustainability by reducing the environmental impact using recyclable materials, with a refill system and a second use concept.
To emphasize the exclusivity of the design, the finishing of the components played an important role.
