Maculart Group, a company specialized in services for the pharmaceutical sector, has acquired 100% of the company Estoig Pharmaceutical, from Molins de Rei (Barcelona).
The company is specialized in pharmaceutical case and will retain all of its staff, 5 people. The acquisition of the company will mean an increase in Grup Maculart's production of up to 78 million cases and 72 million prospects for medicines.
With this purchase Maculart Group reinforces its position in drug kits and prospectuses, where both companies have consolidated experience after years of working with the most important laboratories in the country. Estoig Farmaceutic's facilities have 1000 square meters and various offset machines, as well as stamping and gumming machines that will be moved to the Maculart warehouse during the month of March. Among the services offered by Estoig Farmaceutic are the stamping, handling and assembly of paper and cardboard containers and packaging.
Thus, Grup Maculart, which this year will invest € 2.740.000 in the new acquisition of printing equipment. The company estimates that it will exceed 6,7 million euros during this year and exceed 7 million euros in 2017.
The manager of the company has assured that the purchase represents an important boost for Grup Maculart since it implies the entry of important pharmaceutical groups to its client portfolio, and that it will continue to bet on improving services and efficiency to increase its productivity and continue to grow the group.
