Argraf Group

Argraf Group continues to invest heavily in the Catalan market, culminating its consolidation in this territory with the investment of 2 million euros in improving its Rubí plant (Barcelona). Acquired by Grupo Argraf in 2022, Argraf Catalonia (formerly Redgraf) has experienced a profound evolution in recent months that has been evident in the acquisition of new machinery, as well as the expansion and qualification of its human team.

The fundamental objective of this investment is to improve agility in production and in customer service in Catalonia in its new projects. label printing. Current production is focused on the sector of wine and cava, in which Grupo Argraf is a leader at the national level, but from Argraf Catalonia they also insist on the ability to carry out any project in the food sector.

The new machines Incorporated into the Rubí headquarters are an MPS EF-430 flexographic press and a MIDA MA-350 finishing machine. Joints have been purchased and installed to increase customization capacity for medium and short runs. They stand out for their stability and quality of finishes, so key for the wine sector.

Added to the technical advantages is the attractiveness for Catalan food and beverage companies of having their label supplier close to their headquarters. This allows, on the one hand, to streamline management and decision-making in a sector in which seeing and touching the final result is essential. And on the other hand, it facilitates the transportation of the labels produced, lowering costs and reducing the carbon footprint necessary to get them to their destination.

The result of all these efforts is the consolidation of a service based on technical excellence and closeness to the client, which also has extra services such as the approval of labels in accordance with current regulations in the sector. A service that Grupo Argraf had been offering for years at its headquarters in Oyón, and that will now be much more agile and accessible for clients from the wine-growing areas of Catalonia, among which Penedés, Terra Alta and Conca del Barberá stand out.

“With these investments we gain technological depth and strengthen our customer service. I believe that our commitment to expansion was clear the day we acquired Redgraf, but with this investment any doubts that may exist will surely be cleared up. We have projects to continue growing in Catalonia, as far as I am concerned I am eager to launch them. Above all, with the committed and professional team that I have in Rubí,” he declared. Miguel Angel Torroba, director of Grupo Argraf Catalonia.
