Heineken Spain launches 14 new beers in the first half of 2019

Heineken Spain, one of the leading companies in the beer sector in our country, has launched 14 new varieties of beer and cider on the market in just six months.

Among the most outstanding novelties for 2019 is the El Águila beer, one of the best known and commercialized in our country. More than 100 years after its birth, it is made again with two varieties, one of them Unfiltered. Likewise, in Cruzcampo they have created a new range of Ale-type beers made up of three varieties: Cruzcampo APA (Andalusian Pale Ale), Cruzcampo IPA (India Pale Ale) and Cruzcampo Trigo. Another novelty is El Alcázar beer. In 2019, the Californian beer Lagunitas, the number one IPA in the United States, has also arrived in Spain. Little Sumpin 'Sumpin' Ale and 12th of Never Ale are the other two varieties that accompany Lagunitas IPA.

Within the beer segment, Heineken has teamed up with the Madrid brewery La Cibeles. Among the most outstanding varieties of La Cibeles is La Cibeles Rubia, Imperial IPA and Trigo. For its part, Guinness has surprised this year with the launch in Spain of Guinness Nitro IPA, an India Pale Ale to which nitrogen is added to obtain a smooth and balanced finish, as well as the Hop House 13 lager.

The company has also reinforced its commitment to beers with 0% alcohol with the presentation of the 0,0 version of its toasted Amstel Oro beer. Finally, Heineken Spain continues its commitment to the cider or new cider segment with the launch of a new flavor of Apple Thief: Green Apple.
