Hennessy has released the bottle of limited edition Hennessy XO 2017 by Marc Newson. In the hands of the world-famous designer, this dynamic and streamlined variation on the iconic bottle shape breaks all the rules. The design it intensifies the blend of the interior, which has not changed since 1870, while also placing Cognac Hennessy XO Extra Old on a modern aesthetic frontier.
"The bottle The Hennessy XO has a wonderful basic shape. I wanted to use the design to enhance the cognac, its color and its sensory qualities, as much as possible, ”Newson explains.
Newson's limited edition design gives the Hennessy XO bottle a totally unexpected twist. After reducing the bottle's format to its purest form, the designer decided to repeat his traditional decorative motifs (grapes and leaves) in a corrugated relief. These grooves are perhaps the most daring design elements in the history of the iconic Hennessy XO bottle.
