HP brings the firmware for large format printers to León

León will be the nerve center for the development of the firmware of all large format printers Company HP Worldwide. An advertisement that reaffirms the multinational's commitment to Spain and León, where it has been present for more than 15 years.

To this end, the company has expanded its presence in the region with new facilities in the city. The project begins with a total of 750 square meters located in the emblematic Everest building, which will house this site where, in addition to the printing machines, the 30 people hired to start the project will initially work.

Until now, this development of the firmware of the HP large format printers was carried out in Barcelona, ​​León and Bangalore (India), and it has been decided to move the part that was developed in the Indian region to the city of León.

«The decision to bring this new project to León will not only allow us to increase our presence in the city, but also to generate jobs and value, attract and develop talent, boost the economy and, ultimately, create new opportunities for the future to the region and, with it, the whole of Spain ”, has assured Miguel Angel Turrado, CEO of HP SCDS.

For the implementation of all this new infrastructure, HP has relied on the work of the Solitium Group, another example of the company's commitment to its partner channel. Thus, Grupo Solitium will be in charge of all maintenance and logistics actions for the new facilities.
