International Paper Company, a global paper packaging company, has announced that it has completed the acquisition of Temple-Inland Inc., a manufacturer of corrugated cardboard packaging, through the merger of its subsidiary Metal Inc. with Temple-Inland. Following the acquisition, Temple-Inland common stock has been delisted from the New York Stock Exchange.
