Investindustrial agrees to acquire Eurovetrocap

Luxury Cosmetic Solutions Investments S.à rl, the independent investment subsidiary of Investindustrial Growth III SCSp, has reached an agreement to acquire the majority of Eurovetrocap SpA., a leading integrator of high added value cosmetic packaging. The founding Cattaneo family will retain a minority stake in the Company and the current management team will continue with the company. The Group also owns virospack SL, a world leader in the manufacture of high-quality cosmetic droppers, becomes one of the leading European cosmetic packaging groups with this acquisition.

Founded in 1983 and based in Trezzano sul Naviglio (Milan, Italy), Eurovetrocap is dedicated to the development, finishing and distribution of Glass, plastic and aluminum packaging for the skin care, makeup and pharmaceutical markets.

With 140 employees, Eurovetrocap produces more than 280 million units per year and serves more than 3.000 customers, mainly small and independent brands. The Company offers a wide range of products, customization services and fast delivery times, distributing its products to more than 90 countries through agents, distributors and sales offices in Italy, France, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Eurovetrocap is a transformative addition to the Group and, together with Virospack, creates a highly diversified cosmetic packaging platform with over €120 million in turnover, almost 500 employees and leading manufacturing and distribution capabilities. The combination of the sales forces of Eurovetrocap and Virospack will enhance market reach, deepening relationships with both major beauty groups and independent brands, while achieving a balanced portfolio of luxury and masstige products. The partnership also opens up opportunities for cross-selling and joint development of products such as pumps, moulded glass and mould making, in which Eurovetrocap has significant technical expertise.
