The Klöckner Pentaplast Group has announced the construction of its first factory in China. Located 80 km. west of Shanghai, in the Suzhou Industrial Park, it will produce packaging foils for the growing Chinese domestic market.
Klöckner Pentaplast has been producing foils for packaging, printing and specialty applications since 1965, with global manufacturing in America, Asia and Europe. The new 12.000-square-meter factory will house production equipment, high-tech production control systems and a research and development laboratory.
