La Ultrastream technology It takes advantage of the proven benefits of Stream's single-drop generation technology and produces round, uniform dots, without satellites, at a speed 10 times faster than drop-on-demand using a single printhead array. The modular writing system, available in widths from 8 "to 98" to suit specific applications enables high resolution 600 x 1800 dpi printing at speeds of up to 150 m / min on the widest range of paper substrates and of plastic. The speed and precision of Kodak's exclusive continuous inkjet technology rivals the quality of offset printing, and visitors will be able to see it first-hand with samples at the Kodak booth.

At the Hunkeler Innovation Days, Kodak presented Kodak 800 PrintManager, its latest digital control console, designed to control your high-speed inkjet systems and ideal for a wide variety of applications including commercial, book, direct mail, transactional, newspaper and packaging printing. 800 Print Manager groups multiple jobs into batches in a single run and can queue, process and print fixed or variable data print (VDP) jobs at printing system speeds of thousands of pages per minute (up to 300 m / min ). Based on a unique architecture optimized for VDP, 800 Print Manager combines state-of-the-art software and hardware, reusable item storage, front-to-back balancing, and on-the-fly page composition for ultra-fast printing, and with a targeted color engine. to Objects that offers sophisticated color options, ICC profile support, object-independent dithering options, and text enhancement.
