La Plana Group has formalized the purchase of 100% of the company's shares Soler Containers, specialized in the manufacture, design and development of cardboard containers and packaging for different sectors.
Founded in 1959 and of family origin, Soler Containers is located in the Alicante town of Crevillente and began its career manufacturing shoe boxes for different shoe factories in Elche, Elda, Alicante and for other important companies in the toy and textile sector. The company has been expanding to other markets, consolidating a wide catalog of different formats of ecological and biodegradable containers and packaging made of corrugated and compact cardboard.
They offer specific solutions for various sectors of the meat and sweets industry, processed food and beverages, and other formats for take away, delivery and street food segments with functional and approved designs that use inks, varnishes, glues and materials suitable for use in food contact packaging. It also works for the cosmetics and parapharmacy, footwear and toys sectors. With facilities of more than 12.000 square meters and a human team of more than 60 professionals, Envases Soler It has the latest technology of specific machinery for offset printing and special finishes.
Soler Containers It is the sixth production plant to be incorporated into La Plana Group, after the purchase in 2021 of the Madrid-based company PLV – Primera Línea Visual, specialized in the manufacture of display solutions at the point of sale, and allows the group to expand its offset packaging manufacturing capacity, which led to the incorporation of the Packaging group Matched in 2017.
