Lady Gaga and Dom Pérignon

April 12th 2021

Dom Pérignon and Lady Gaga have started a collaboration, the centerpiece of which is a limited edition sculpture.

Dom Pérignon sees the champagne as "an act of creation, seeking to inspire the deepest emotions." It is driven by the commitment that each vintage bears witness to a year, maintaining your search for an aesthetic ideal: "Creating and revealing harmony from nature in perpetual change, the climate and the unique characteristics that each year brings", so it does not make a vintage when a year does not live up to that ideal.

World music icon, Lady Gaga is a chameleon actress, one step ahead of her time, who always expresses her opinion. He has been a powerful voice for the LGBT + community. Her concert-initiative One World raised $ 120 million for the World Health Organization and for the front-line fight against the Covid-19 pandemic and this year she has been honored for her art and activism by the Martin Luther King Center .

Limited edition

The limited-edition sculpture stands out for its iridescent stripe that reflects the flow and movement of a magnetic dress. Own bottle seems to rise through its coating. Designed by Lady Gaga for Dom Pérignon in collaboration with Nicholas Formichetti, the sculpture acts as a veil that wraps Dom Pérignon Jeroboam Rosé Vintage 2005.

With 110 exclusive pieces produced, the limited edition sculpture will be available for private sales and will be exhibited in iconic Dom Pérignon venues. All Dom Pérignon profits from the sale of the Uberpiece will go to the Born This Way Foundation by Lady Gaga. The Born This Way Foundation, created in 2011 by Lady Gaga and her mother Cynthia Germanotta, supports the well-being of people and works with them to create a better world through campaigns and programs such as Channel Kindness or the # BeKind21 events.

Over the next two years, Dom Pérignon and Lady Gaga will announce other results of their collaboration. In autumn, Dom Pérignon will launch a limited edition of Vintage 2010 and Rosé 2006 in exclusive boxes and creative.

The bell

The photographer and director Nick Knight has orchestrated the new campaign, a visual experiment with the choreography of Richard Jackson, the costumes of Nicola Formichetti, the hairstyles of Frédéric Aspiras, the makeup of Sarah Tanno and the nails of Miho Okawara ...

All of this combines to create a vibrant vision of the concept of the power of inspiration. For the music, Lady Gaga chose her song Free Woman, from her album Chromatica. The film and photos will appear in an international advertising campaign that premiered on April 6 and will spread around the world.
