Lecta's factories in Almazán, Motril and Zaragoza obtain OHSAS 18001 certification

15th September 2014

The OHSAS 18001 specification (Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series) is the most widely extended model at the international level for the establishment, implementation and operation of an occupational health and safety management system.

Lecta, which had already achieved certification at its factory in Riva del Garda (Italy), voluntarily acquired in its last Environmental Report the commitment to extend the OHSAS 18001 certification to all its factories before the end of 2014.
The OHSAS 18001 certificates for the Cartiere del Garda factory and the Torraspapel factories in Almazán, Motril and Zaragoza are available at www.gardacartiere.it, www.adestor.com and www.torraspapel.com respectively.
The Lecta Group is one of the world's largest producers of chemical pulp coated paper (CWF) and one of the European leaders in the specialty papers market, made up of three companies with a long tradition in their markets of origin: Cartiere del Garda in Italy, Condat in France and Torraspapel in Spain.
Lecta currently has 8 factories with a total production capacity of around 2 million tons.
