The most successful innovations of 2013

Silhouette Thins 8 cereals, Matutano Lay's Xtra Sal and Actimel Actiguerreros have been the most successful innovations of 2013 in FMCG, according to the “Innovation Radar” prepared by the consulting firm Kantar Worldpanel. The report also recognizes Buckler 0,0 Negra as the most successful innovation in the beverage section, Fairy Limpio & Fresco in drugstore, and Nivea Invisible for Black & White in perfumery.
They continue in the top 10 of food: Gallina Blanca free-range chicken, Hacendado pasta mix snacks, Gallina Blanca Yatekomo oriental style, Hacendado rooibos and carrot, Donuts Mix Cacao, Yolado Freeze and Enjoy and the Magnum 5 kisses ice cream.

Finally, the ranking of the most successful innovations of 2013 is closed by Font Vella Levité Limón and Schweppes Dry Lemon in beverages; Mistol Multiusos and Ariel Excel Tabs Fresh Sensations in drugstore; and Oral B Pro-Expert and Tresemme smooth keratin in the perfumery section.
The report concludes that only ten manufacturers have concentrated more than 60% of the innovations launched on the market in 2013. P&G leads this ranking, followed by Panrico, Unilever, Nestlé and Pepsico. Gallina Blanca is the only Spanish company that appears among the ten most innovative. On the other hand, the distribution brand has only carried out 11% of the innovations in 2013, led by Mercadona and Lidl, with 3% of the launches each.
