Spanish brands, leaders in the shopping cart

Coca-Cola, ElPozo and Campofrío once again lead the Brand Footprint Spain 2019 ranking, prepared by Kantar, which generates the ranking of the 50 most purchased consumer brands in Spain and in the world. 53% of local brands have grown in the last year with 1,7% in value. In contrast, 54% of global brands have fallen during the same period.

The three leading brands chosen by Spanish consumers in 2018 are followed by Central Lechera Asturiana, Gallo, Danone, Activia, Pescanova, Bimbo and Puleva. In terms of preferred manufacturers, Nestlé and Danone top the list and Coca-Cola, Camofría and Unilever close the Top 5.

The growth of the 50 brands that appear in the range may be related to the fact that 90% have invested in advertising, promotions have increased by 3,4% and the brands have tripled their innovations.
