Reading Metalvac expands its reference range with Metalvac Ice Cream, new metallic paper that meets the current demands of technical performance, industrial efficiency and sustainability of the sector.
This new paper is available in a weight of 123 g/m² and offers optimal print quality on its metallized side using offset, flexography, and gravure printing. Furthermore, its water vapor barrier ensures proper preservation throughout the entire supply chain of the biscuit cone, in direct contact with the paper.
This product is recyclable within the paper and cardboard recycling stream, in accordance with CEPI recyclability standards. This new metallized paper aligns with the principles of the circular economy and constitutes an efficient and more sustainable alternative for multiple uses. flexible packaging applications.
La Metalvac range It offers different paper grades with heat-sealable properties and barrier properties against light, water vapor, oxygen, and aroma, as well as resistance to moisture and grease (without added PFAS). These high-vacuum metallized papers are characterized by their machinability and adaptability to standard packaging lines, thus ensuring efficiency in the production process.
Its low aluminum content (0,08 g/m²) promotes its high performance in terms of barrier properties, without compromising the recyclability of the material in the paper circuit.
