The professional salons Empack, Logistics and Packaging Innovations will mark this 23 and 24 November in Madrid in pavilion 9 of the Feria de Madrid the global trends of innovation in the consumer industry.
After increasing the number of participating companies to about 400 and increasing the total exhibition area (37 m²) by 22.000%, this 2016 the three professional shows will have a marked turn of internationalization by confirming the participation of key players in the non-industrial sector. only Spanish but also international brands, such as Brother Iberia, Sato Internacional, Finnco Packaging, Teknopak, Milacrom, which this year join other companies such as Rotas Ibérica, Bizerba, Fromm, ABB, with tradition in the event. All the main brands of forklift trucks and storage will be present in the Logistics area.
Throughout the two days of the fair, it is expected that more than 8.000 visitors will be able to enjoy new expanded areas of live demonstrations of machinery and technology, new virtual reality spaces, experiences, a live set with news from the sector, offered by Cuadernos de Logistics, and networking activities to generate one-to-one business opportunities. In addition, in order to facilitate the visit of all professionals in the sector, LPR will offer a workspace, with everything necessary to combine visiting the fair with office work.
Regarding content and training, this year, each of the rooms will have national and international speakers distributed in eight conference rooms, highlighting the participation of Martin Christopher, Emeritus Professor of Marketing and Logistics at the University of Cranfield (UK).
On Wednesday, November 23, at the end of the first day of the fair, the celebration of the sector's festival is scheduled. On Thursday, November 24, the third edition of the IPA Awards will be awarded, organized by Packaging Innovations Madrid and sponsored by Derprosa. Designers, agencies and brands will be able to register their candidatures on the official website of the awards: www.ipaawards.com until October 30.
