GPA Luxury manufactured a bottle holder that doubles as a hanging bird “feeder” for the Irish Redbreast whiskey.
This Limited Edition came to life as part of a campaign by Redbreast and BirdLife International, with € 15 donated to charity for every pack purchased.
El the packaging It is made up of two parts: a cylindrical top and a flat circular base, which are securely attached. They built both parts of aluminum, anodized and stained in a bright copper shade and added a leather strap handle, colored to match the brand's iconic red and with a copper foil.
The upper section features a cropped herringbone pattern, which not only allows for a partial view of the bottle, it also enables the bird feeder function of second use. The pattern was chosen to evoke the look of bird feathers.
Other details include the Redbreast logo engraved on the shoulder and the laser engraved branding on the front panel. This was anodized to ensure that the bright copper hue is seen throughout the packaging.
When using the pack to store the bottle, the top section must be placed over the bottle and turned to fit the base. The leather strap can be lifted to fit over the neck and cap of the bottle. When used as a bird feeder, the bottle should be removed, the top rotated, and locked to the base. The user can then pour bird food on top, before attaching a small lid to keep it closed. When not in use, this cap remains on the bottle container. The leather strap then functions as a handle, allowing the user to hang the feeder in an appropriate location in their garden.
