Melayci presents itself with a collection of wooden lipsticks from Corpack

January 11, 2021

corpack has developed a wooden lipstick for the French brand Melayci, which debuted with a "My Blossom" lipstick collection. The brand was founded by Kelly Njiké to respond to the need for representation of women of color in the beauty industry, especially in France and throughout the world. The collection of five shades was created to highlight all types of skin tones.

The outer base and lid of the lipstick are made from ash wood sourced from certified sustainable European forestry. The natural wood, in a matte brown finish, contrasts with the shiny gold metal ring, where the logo is engraved in the center. Since the grain of the wood is always different, each lipstick is unique.
