Metsä Board, part of the Metsä Group, has been recognized by CDP Supplier Engagement Assessment Leaderboard, for its work collaborating with suppliers to jointly address climate change. Earlier this year, Metsä Board earned a CDP Triple A rating for climate, forests, and water security. Only eight companies in the world received the top Triple A rating. Metsä Board was the only company in the forestry sector to receive the top score.
CDP's annual Supplier Engagement Assessment (SEA) evaluates corporate supply chain engagement on climate issues. The highest-rated companies are listed on the Supplier Engagement Leaderboard. The SEA evaluates companies' responses to CDP's climate questionnaire to assess their performance on governance, targets, Scope 3 emissions, and value chain engagement.
