Neopac won an award at the PCD in Paris for the sustainability of its Picea ™ tube for Bamse

Neopac won an award at the PCD in Paris for sustainability of your Picea ™ tube to Bamse, a skincare range specially designed for children, owned by Trimb Healthcare.
El Spruce ™ tube, a product Eco Design from Neopac, is mainly composed of a combination of fir waste and a plastic matrix of sugar-based raw materials made exclusively for Neopac. In total, it is made up of 95,8% renewable materials. Analysis of the CO2 footprint from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) revealed that Picea ™ wooden pipe uses up to 38,9% less CO2 in its life cycle than traditional polyethylene (PE) pipes.
Other benefits of Picea ™ include ease of printability and similar barrier properties compared to PE or LDPE tubing. It has the Ecocert and Cosmos certifications as well as the EU food grade status.
