La Bobst Expertfold 110 A3 includes new integrated modules specifically designed to produce boxes with automatic bottoms and 4 and 6 points. With these modules, job changes from one box type to another are easier and faster.
Pierre Bingeli, product line manager folder-gluer of Bobst, explained: “With this new version of the Expertfold 110, Bobst takes versatility and production efficiency to a new dimension. Set-up times are reduced by 80%, dramatically shortening job change times and optimizing machine availability - a huge advantage when it comes to producing short runs. The Expertfold provides a cardboard production speed of up to 450 meters per minute; and for 4 point boxes it can produce up to half a million boxes per day. It is a machine with excellent performance and precision for folding and gluing all types of folding cartons, which has been further improved with the integration of specific modules.
Bobst has been innovating this machine to ensure that it adapts to the needs of packaging converting companies as the market evolves. The A3 version is the newest configuration of the Expertfold 110, with which the new dedicated modules simplify job changes, reducing them considerably.
