Founded in 1861, the Cavas Freixenet in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, near Barcelona, they house a rich family heritage. An inheritance that Freixenet commissioned Hurt Hanson document and design a book about the brand's spirit. They also globally redesigned Freixenet's brand identity and its full range of bottle and label packaging, special edition bottles, and gift boxes.
The redesign of the packaging of the Freixenet cava It features a minimalist and striking visual approach, with carefully selected typography and subtle enhancements to the bottle's signature black finish. The lettering is inspired by the original Freixenet facade at the entrance to the Sant Sadurní d'Anoia winery.
The embossed name adds a premium touch. An elegant ribbon crosses the logo vertically, subtly indicating the variety. The Freixenet crest has also been modernized, incorporating the X. The new logo also features a distinctive X element, symbolizing a contemporary evolution of Freixenet's essence.
