The new Speedmaster CX75 de Heidelberg combines the innovative platform of the Speedmaster XL 75 of the Peak Performance class with components of the Speedmaster SX 74. Flexible and with the format of print More economical at 50 x 70 cm, the Speedmaster CX 75 can handle substrates ranging from lighter paper to stiff card stock thanks to its double diameter impression cylinders.
Any type of preset in the prepress process for preset functions, other feeder functions or delivery, all of this can be integrated through the Prinect workflow, ensuring high productivity. Switching from the last sheet in one print run to the first sheet in the next can be done in less than five minutes.
The planned ergonomic concept together with generous space between the printing units allows optimal access and therefore easy and fast operation and maintenance. The Speedmaster CX 75 can hold four to six colors with one coating unit. It has a maximum production speed of 15.000 sheets per hour and a compact design, making it Heidelberg's most optimized printing machine in the 50 x 70 cm format.
It will be officially unveiled at China Print in Beijing (9-13 May), where a four-color Speedmaster CX 75 with Heidelberg's innovative DryStar LED technology will be displayed.
