Hermès launches its first Rouge Hermès makeup collection. The first lipstick collection

Hermès launches its first makeup collection Hermès Red. The first lipstick collection, in 24 shades, will be available from March 2020.
The textures of the lipsticks evoke the leather of the iconic Birkin bags and the colors of the scarves and accessories. They are sustainable because they contain no plastic and are refillable, so when the product runs out the consumer can keep the tube and buy only the refill lipstick.
Rouge Hermès is designed in two different textures: matte or satin.
The lipsticks are presented in small boxes made entirely of recycled cardboard with the brand's signature orange. Refills are only available at Hermès boutiques or counters.
The collection is the brainchild of Pierre Hardy, Artistic Director of Footwear and Jewelry; Bali Barret, head of women's fashion for the house, and Jérôme Touron, artistic director of the new Hermès Beauté division. Perfumer Christine Nagel composed the olfactory signature of the collection.
