New networking breakfast of the Container and Packaging Cluster

March 26th 2018

El Container and Packaging Cluster shows more than 70 professionals how to improve packaging through design and optimal color management. The main theme of the Breakfast has focused on explaining techniques and practical cases to increase the perception of quality by the customer through the packaging, improving, among other aspects, the design process and color management in its printing. One of the main keys is to integrate the consumer himself into the packaging design process. In this sense, the technical coordinator for the design of Consum's Private Labels (MDD), Carolina Muñoz, confirmed that Consum performs tests on the real shelf before launching it on the market to know the valuation of its customers.

Consum also monitors the quality of the printing of its brands' packaging at all times. Thus, efficient color management is also key to maintaining an always homogeneous image in all runs and media. Manuel Rivelles, Commercial Director of MGV COLOR spoke about this. Finally, the event was also attended by the representative of the Packaging Cluster of Catalonia, Àlex Brossa, to explain its activities and its collaboration agreement with the Packaging Cluster.
