For second consecutive Year

For the second consecutive year, Verallia, a subsidiary of the Saint-Gobain group, organized the Spanish edition of its Glass and Creation Contest, aimed at rewarding the creativity of young students. The call for the Contest, whose motto was "Mediterranean Design", proposed them to devise an innovative glass container for drinks or foods representative of the Mediterranean culture.
“Olivia”, by Juan Carlos Cuéllar Nieto (European University of Madrid), is the title of the € 3.000 winning project.
A jar of olives that differs in the linear, aesthetic, functional and versatile way. Thanks to its flip-flop system, it allows the liquid to be separated from the olives in a single movement. It can be used to store other products after their content is exhausted.
