Paco Llopis is an artisan from the chocolate. Contact with Lavernia & Cienfuegos to design a new image and packaging for Utopick Chocolates.

utopick It had a symbol: a ship that alludes to the long journey that cocoa fruits make to reach its workshop, the same one since the Spanish brought it from there in the XNUMXth century. For your the packaging, Lavernia & Cienfuegos turned that symbol into an origami boat, from which they found the solution.

"Taking advantage of the fact that Utopick pack by hand we designed a different wrapping system, without the limitations imposed by automatic processes", they explain. The folding of the paper creates two triangles on the top with colors and textures that personalize each reference. It opens and closes, facilitating the gesture of putting the tablet back in its packaging, as if it had not been opened.

They reproduced the textures on the tablet, which is pre-cut into large triangles, again using the geometry of the boat, the symbol of Utopick.

This packaging stands out for its aesthetics, for its visual and subtle beauty, for hiding hidden passions and evoking the game, the blush pinwheels that move with the wind, like paper boats.
