Packaging Premiere The 2026 edition concluded. The benchmark event for high-end packaging once again transformed Milan into an international stage of excellence in the sector.

Three intense days, held at the Allianz MiCo, which brought together 8012 visitors from all over the world, confirming the fair as an essential event for those looking to anticipate the latest developments in a constantly evolving industry.

With 312 exhibitors from 21 countries and a highly qualified audience of brand managers, designers, and suppliers, Packaging Première once again proved to be a valuable networking opportunity for the entire packaging community. The event brought together exhibitors from the beauty, fashion, jewelry, wine and spirits, and premium gastronomy sectors, showcasing solutions that successfully combine artisanal tradition with technological innovation.

“This edition confirmed that the sector is driven by a growing and structured pursuit of innovation. It’s no longer just about finding aesthetic or functional solutions: packaging has become a language, a way to build lasting relationships between brands and people. Seeing such a diverse community gathered in Milan demonstrates that dialogue between different worlds is now the true lever of innovation,” he states. The leitmotif of the edition, Paper Tracks —the concept developed by Elisabetta Bonuccelli from Unokostudio— permeated every corner of the fair, resulting in a constant dialogue between craftsmanship and industry, between matter and gesture.

The program included 32 talks across two conference spaces—the Trend Hall and the Future Stage—with approximately 90 speakers, including representatives from brands, designers, creative agencies, and international guests. Design, innovative materials, and sustainability led the conversation, along with the evolution of the supply chain and the role of packaging as a tool for brand storytelling and identity.

La Discovery Zone – Powered by Oropress – dedicated to startups and cutting-edge technologies, sparked great interest, as did The FactoryThe experimental space showcased machinery and expert artisans demonstrating live screen printing and digital printing techniques on materials such as paper, leather, fabric, glass, plastic, and metal, as well as crafts in wood, fabric, and paper. beauty hub – Powered by PCD – was the center specializing in primary packaging for perfumery, skin care, makeup and personal care.

During the event, special mentions were given to the best stand designs: the mention for Best Custom Stand went to Corvasce and a special mention for MCC SrlThe award for Best Prefabricated Stand went to FurlanisAll projects reflected the values ​​of the edition, combining creativity, functionality and attention to detail.

A particularly significant moment was the presentation of the Italian Woman of Packaging 2026 award to Anna Paola Cavanna, sole administrator of Laminati Cavanna Spa, an award that celebrates the contribution of women to excellence and innovation in the packaging sector.

The next edition is already scheduled for May 18-20, 2027 in Milan.
