Casa Palacio Atocha 34 hosts the 51st edition of Casa Decor until tomorrow

The Casa Palacio Atocha 34 will host the 51st edition of Casa Decor until tomorrow, June 28, the most exclusive interior design and decoration exhibition in Europe. This year features a flock of paper birds that welcome visitors.

The team of craftsmen Soak up, specialized in fusing interior design with Paper Art techniques such as origami, participates for the first time in the contest with some paper sculptures that are exhibited in the two spaces that this year the decorator Manuel Espejo intervenes: the facade and the entrance to the building.

In this project, Empaperart has had the support of the firm Antalis, European leader in the distribution of paper, to raise its sculptures with paper from the Curious Collection Metallics Galvanized (Steel) range.

The emblematic building, in the heart of the Barrio de Las Letras in Madrid, has 4.000 spaces in its 2m63 with some 130 interior designers, architects, decorators, landscapers and artists to show the public the latest trends in interior design and developments in the sector.

In order to transform his spaces, decorated as the reception of the Casa Decor Palacio Atocha 5 34-star hotel, the interior designer has opted to reinforce the visual impact with an artistic touch in Paper Art with the stamp of the Valencian studio. Dozens of large-format paper birds, faceted and handcrafted, incite the visitor to let their imagination run wild.

The majestic birds in silver tones fly over the main entrance of the building, 7 meters high, hanging from the impressive stately ceilings. The façade also seems to be invaded by a dozen birds, this time white, that leave the building by force of the interior design to wait on the balconies for visitors to the house.
