La Paris Packaging Week 2025 The event has set a new milestone with 12.588 visitors (an increase of 27% compared to last year), the highest attendance in the event’s 24-year history.
Over two dynamic days, visitors from 106 countries explored innovations presented by more than 880 exhibitors, cementing Paris Packaging Week’s position as the leading event for packaging innovation and design in the luxury, beverage, beauty and aerosol markets. Including those working on stands, a total of 17.969 people attended the event last Tuesday and Wednesday.
“Apart from the business aspects of the event, it was wonderful to see so many special experiences and moments at Paris Packaging Week, from live art and music to start-ups and celebrations, inspiring galleries and fresh ideas from young packaging innovators. There was a real energy at the show and, more than ever, a sense that the future of packaging was being created before our eyes,” he said. Josh Brooks, events and division director.
Revealing lectures and expert dialogues
More than 190 industry experts delivered over 30 hours of engaging sessions and provided fresh perspectives on the packaging industry’s hottest topics – from sustainability and the circular economy to artificial intelligence, innovative design and regulatory challenges.
Among the 129 conferences held, the sessions that attracted the most audiences included:
PPWR and the 3Rs: What are the implications for packaging? – Industry leaders, regulatory experts and CSR specialists discussed how to strategically integrate the principles of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle into packaging development.
Keynote: Breitling – 140 Years of Pioneering Spirit – Édouard d'Arbaumont, General Manager for Southern Europe at Breitling, shared his insights on how the watchmaking giant continues to drive growth and innovation.
Keynote: Mathieu Lehanneur, Designer. The renowned designer of the Olympic flame and cauldron captivated the audience with his visionary approach to design, innovation and creativity in today's luxury market.
ADF, PCD and PLD Innovation Awards: The prestigious award ceremonies attracted packed halls, where attendees witnessed the presentation of the most innovative solutions in the packaging industry in cosmetics, premium beverages, aerosols and dispensing systems.
In addition, the addition of the Pentawards Festival this year brought a number of new elements to the event, including a gallery of the top 100 packaging designs from last year, live art from artist Craig Black and a speaker programme including decision-makers from Unilever, Carrefour, Nestlé, Diageo and more. Commenting on this, Josh Brooks said: “A particular feature of this year’s event was the presence of a larger number of people from the marketing and design community than ever before.”
Paris Packaging Week Paris 2025 also celebrated the innovation of young talents, through several initiatives, such as competitions for students from prestigious institutions and schools.
The next edition will be held on 5 and 6 February 2026.
