Roland DG launches fluorescent ink for Texart

Roland D.G. Corporation, one of the world's leading manufacturers of large format inkjet printers and printer / cutters, introduces a fluorescent ink specially formulated for its Texart XT-640 and RT-640 large format sublimation printers.

Created specifically for dye-sublimation transfer printing, Texart printers deliver excellent print quality and productivity for sportswear, fashion, textile signage, décor, promotional merchandising, and more. The new fluorescent pink (Fp) and yellow (Fy) inks can be combined with Roland DG Texart inks to create a large number of attractive fluorescent hues. The Roland DG Fluorescent Color Library can be installed into Adobe® Illustrator® and CorelDRAW® for greater ease of use and more options for customizing colors. Simply click on the desired colors from the palette to quickly and easily incorporate bright fluorescent and pastel colors onto the design you want to sublimation print. 

According to Yuko Maeda, President of the Business Development Department at Roland DG, the new fluorescent inks will be available in mid-July 2016 in a CMYKOrViFpFy configuration for Texart XT-640 and RT-640 printers with RIP ErgoSoft Roland Edition software. . "With the growing demand for personalized productions in the sportswear and fashion sector," he says. "We believe that the addition of fluorescent ink will not only improve the versatility of our Texart printers, but will greatly expand the textile printing possibilities for our users, especially for apparel and sportswear."

Roland DG will present a large number of sample textile applications created using fluorescent ink at DRUPA 2016, the world's largest international fair for printing solutions and materials, which is being held in Düsseldorf, Germany, from May 31 to June 10 of 2016.
