Saica buys the corrugated paper group Emin Leydier

The Aragonese company saica has acquired the French group emin leydier, specialized in the production of corrugated paper and cardboard. Founded in 1975, Emin Leydier has eight plants in France, two paper mills and achieved a turnover of 378,4 million euros in 2017. With this purchase, Saica's paper production capacity will increase by 800.000 tons, to 3,3 ,360 millions. Saica also adds an additional capacity of XNUMX million square meters in the production of corrugated cardboard.

The Saica Group has a presence in Spain, France, Italy, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Turkey, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. It has four business lines: manufacture of recycled paper for corrugated cardboard, recovery of recyclable materials, corrugated cardboard packaging and flexible packaging.

Saica Natur and Danone. Danone has started to recycle 100% of the waste generated by its four plants in Spain (Aldaya in Valencia, Parets in Barcelona, ​​Salas in Asturias and Tres Cantos in Madrid), thanks to the collaboration with Saica Natur. The company is one of the first companies in Spain to achieve the “Zero Waste” objective and to reuse these recycled materials.
