Schubert changes the name of its subsidiaries IPS and Schubert + Edelmann

As of January 1, 2016, IPS International Packaging Systems from Crailsheim becomes Schubert Packaging Systems, while Schubert + Edelmann de Bartholomä acquires the company name Schubert Fertigungstechnik.
“With this measure of changing the social reasons we respond to the positive development of our company. These names underline the level of recognition of the Schubert brand and the international strength with which we carry out our activities in the world market, not only as one of the leaders in machine construction but also as a complete business group ”, explains the decision Gerald Schubert , director of the company.

On October 1, 2015, the name of the subsidiaries Schubert Packaging Automation and Schubert Packaging Systems in the US and Canada was changed, which from that date became Schubert North America.

For more than 40 years, IPS (International Packaging Systems GmbH) has stood for engineering solutions from machines tailored to the needs of the client and independent of suppliers in the sector of packaging end.

The change of company name also concerns the company Schubert + Edelmann GmbH, which has been part of the Schubert Group since 1977. With 78 employees, Schubert + Edelmann was able to contribute 7,7 million euros to the Group's turnover in 2014. The company contributes greatly to the achievement of the high production depth of Gerhard Schubert GmbH. In order to communicate this important position both within and outside the Group, Schubert + Edelmann will present itself in future under the name Schubert Fertigungstechnik GmbH.

At the Bartholomä plant, the company manufactures individual parts and small series of metal and plastic for the most varied sectors, such as tooling, ophthalmic optics and aeronautics, Gerhard Schubert GmbH being the main customer with approx. 1 million pieces per year.
