Clarins UV Plus range is launched with VPI packaging

March 31th 2021

VPI, the beauty division of Faiveley Plast Group, faced a double challenge for the new Clarins UV PLUS Anti-Pollution Multi-protection Moisturizing Screen, which has just been launched on the market.

From a technical perspective, the packaging has been designed and manufactured with recycled materials joined together by ultrasound. On the other hand, from an aesthetic point of view, the combined use of PET and recycled PET gave the packaging greater clarity, one of the requests made by Clarins in order to achieve harmony with the brand image.

Pad printing was used for the brand name and the pearl varnish made the spherical design stand out, with a screw cap for the tube that adds a touch of elegance. A series of tests were carried out to optimize the technique and create the capsule, which will be extended to different references and sizes throughout the product line (30 ml, 50 ml).
