2020 Pentawards Jury Revealed

December 10th 2019

The prestigious packaging design contest pentawards has 30 of the biggest names in design as its Jury for the 2020 edition, double the number of people involved in previous years.
By increasing Jury members, Pentawards continues to drive a truly diverse mix of experts, ensuring that different nationalities, ages, genders, educations, skills, experiences and knowledge are represented. This year's panel is made up of 18 countries, from three continents, including first-time representatives from India, Denmark, Armenia, Switzerland and Brazil.
Additionally, the number of female jurors has nearly doubled to nine and the contest is committed to increasing this number to a 50/50 split in the coming years. Among them: Helle Søegaard Rasmussen from Lego, Ashwinda Deshpande from Elephant Design, Masa Cui from Marie Dalga, Angelina Pischikova from Pearlfisher and Jayne Struk from Depot Branding Agency.
This group of 'judges' spans a broader mix of industries, cultures and specialties, making the tangible feedback provided by the Pentawards Excellence Score, which is returning for the second year, even more valuable.
Adam Ryan, Head of Pentawards, concludes: “Our jury panel for 2020 is like a who's who of global brands and design agencies. It is absolutely mind-blowing. This is by far the best and largest lineup we have had for our Pentawards Jury and we want to thank everyone for joining us this year. It is not only a great recognition for the contest to have all these important players involved, but also those who enter the competition. It allows them to present their work and projects in front of some of the brightest design minds, knowing that each and every comment will potentially transform their future thinking. Also, for those who win, they have been selected as the best, by the best. Now I can't wait for the contest to open to participate on February 10th. "
