Sleever and Avery Dennison presentan Inventra, a smart product that integrates RFID technology into the retractable sleeve tag.
Avery Dennison contributes its international design, testing, and production capabilities for RFID inlays. Sleever structures the industrial integration of these technologies into solutions tailored to the specific needs of the beauty and makeup industry.
RFID technology enables item-level identification, providing a more reliable view of inventory, improved shelf availability, and a significant reduction in stock discrepancies.
Unlike surface-mounted solutions, Inventra integrates RFID technology into the core of the sleeve's label, preserving the visual impact and design identity, protecting the RFID component from tampering, and ensuring enhanced tamper security. In this way, it combines decoration, information, and traceability.
Aligned with regulatory advances
Inventra is designed with future global requirements for traceability, transparency and circularity in mind, including within the framework of the Digital Product Passport.
The solution ultimately aims to enable digital product identification at the item level, supporting: regulatory compliance initiatives, anti-counterfeiting strategies, recyclability and circularity tracking projects, as well as future uses related to facilitating the purchasing process and product information.
The collaboration between Avery Dennison and Sleever was supported by AB Agency, a consultancy specializing in strategic business development and innovation.
“The beauty industry currently loses nearly $5000 billion annually* due to inefficiencies and waste in the supply chain. This is a reality that brands can no longer afford. It's a data-driven solution for a market that demands beauty and responsibility, in a controlled and scalable way,” he states. Maryna Grytsenko-Nénon, Avery Dennison RFID Beauty & Personal Care.
For its part, Philippe Morel, Sleever Sales & Marketing Director Europe, The company states: “We are especially proud of this new product developed jointly with Avery Dennison.
