Smurfit Kappa, together with Danone's R&D, Marketing and Purchasing teams, has developed SRP (Shelf Ready Packaging) packaging to accompany the market launch of Yolado, the new yogurt developed for frozen consumption. This innovative packaging has an easy-to-open perforated front that, once removed, allows full exposure of the product both from the front and from the side. The exterior printing has been carried out maintaining the identity of the brand to provide greater visibility and recognition of the product on the shelf. It is the first Danone tray that has an interior printing, taking advantage of the base to enhance the brand and reinforce the main message of this product at the time of purchase. Smurfit Kappa is the main supplier of corrugated cardboard packaging for Danone in Spain and at the Danone Supplier Awards 2011 it received the award “Best supplier of raws & packs” of the year.
