Solís presents a new image with which it wants to show its historical commitment to sustainable local agriculture. Now, the brand explains to the consumer on the packaging itself how Solís is made, which has been working with Extremadura farmers since 1964 in the production of their tomato sauces.
At the packaging, it is read that Solís is made with 100% tomatoes grown in Las Vegas de Guadiana (Extremadura), by local farmers, with sustainable and respectful practices for the environment, being responsible with water throughout the supply chain.
Solís is made under the integrated production standard of the Junta de Extremadura, in the factory of Nestlé in Miajadas (Cáceres), the first power plant in Europe to have obtained AWS Gold certification for its responsible water management from the fields to its use in the factory thanks to the Solís Responsable initiative. In addition, it is 0 waste to landfill and 100% of the electrical energy comes from sources of renewable energy.
