The new wellness brand Love ocean went to Spectra to produce a new the packaging shaped like a whale's tail for the little ones' bubble bath and hair and body products.
The new 300ml oval design has been produced using 100% recycled HDPE plastic and features a striking whale tail snap closure; both made at the Spectra facility.
Designed by world renowned design agency pearlfisher, the new packaging can be refilled and reused through the Love Ocean subscription service. The packaging serves as a permanent reminder of the importance of ocean conservation and provides conversation starters for parents and children on how to live more sustainably in the world around us.
Love Ocean's 1-liter refill bag can be delivered directly to consumers every three months, with regular monthly advance subscriptions. The brand will even provide a postpaid envelope so the bags can be washed and reused.
In order to reinforce its environmental spirit, Love Ocean has partnered with Plastic Bank, which creates recycling ecosystems in countries that lack sufficient disposal infrastructure and have high rates of pollution and poverty. Plastic Bank establishes collection sites and employs and supports citizens in those regions to manage their ecosystems for the benefit of the environment.
Love Ocean bath products were launched on June 8, on the United Nations World Oceans Day.
