"Fruit Glasses" by Viktoriia Schmidt and Arthur Schmidt from Germany was the design awarded with the first prize in the professional category of the design contest Recreate Packaging 2018 by Stora Enso. In the student category, the first prize winner was "MonsterFruits" by Marcus Zieboll and Tino Buschhorn from the Media University of Stuttgart, Germany.
The theme of Recreate Packaging 2018 was the packaging of baby food and the prizes were awarded in a spectacular event that took place in Madrid on May 17, 2018. This is the fourth edition of the contest, which aims to promote innovation in design and the creation of new packaging solutions based on renewable materials.
This year's contest, which revolved around the packaging of baby food, increased registrations by 61% compared to the previous edition. Working with sustainable and renewable materials and the objective of improving the packaging of baby food were a great inspiration for the designers, who presented a total of 258 proposals.
