Stout Boom in Vacuum Metal Silver Lux, voted Best Beer Label

March 18th 2020

The project with the designer Andrea Basile (BasileADV) and the calligrapher Giuseppe Salerno (Resistenza) was to develop a label for a new product line

The project with the designer Andrea Basile (BasileADV) and the calligrapher Joseph Salerno (Resistenza) was to develop a label for a new product line, an immediately recognizable connection to that beer in particular and with the character of the brand.

The Italian craft brewery Malti da Legare launched a new recipe for its Amberly product that, in line with its name, had to display an explosive label. In fact, the origin of the variety Stout goes back in time. The result was an excellent combination of aromas, malt, cocoa beans, coffee and liquorice, all behind the icon of the Boom ape.

This captivating design strikes a balance with artisan origins while giving the idea of a Molotov, a flavor war with a 'dangerous' neck tag and red sealing wax to protect the 'fuse'.

The label was made with the Vacuum Metal Silver Lux by Arconvert, a metallic silver foil with aluminum particles and a high degree of gloss, quality, resistance and a metallic finish. A label with a mirror effect and moving reflections reminiscent of sparks of fire, manipulated by the La Commerciale printer.

The glossy paper contrasts with a matte writing, a Boom that reminds us of suburban Graffiti and gives a young and modern touch to a product that has historical value.
