It's been five years now Dabiz Muñoz and El Corte Inglés They held responsible superstudio of the creativity and packaging design of their Christmas collection.
Nougat and King cakes They're practically a tradition at the design agency. As always, the chef's brief challenged Supperstudio to outdo themselves: “The proposal must be innovative, disruptive, and mind-blowing. We aim to build upon the ideas, especially the concept of flying pigs, which in the XO universe represent creativity, freedom, and experimentation with the most daring flavors.”
For this year's Roscones de Reyes (Three Kings' Day cakes), the Supperstudio team takes things a step further by creating, bringing to life, and animating two winged piglets that connect with the flavor, concept, and inspiration behind the chef's creation. This year, augmented reality is incorporated to better visualize the concept, build a user experience, and see the piglets in action.
'Pinky Fantasia' is cheerful, creative, sparkling, and fresh. She's a confident and uninhibited classical ballet dancer. She's strawberry, raspberry, popping candy, and lemon whipped cream.
'La merienda' is a journey back to our childhood. It's the child we all were, who came home from school, dropped their backpack, and ran to have that glass of milk and cookies we remember so fondly. It's sweet, caramel, wafer, chocolate, and a touch of ginger.
The style of the illustrations and the use of artificial intelligence as a tool have given the project a new and unexpected dimension.
Salted nougats
Dabiz Muñoz continues to reinvent the nougat category, proposing transgressive and unexpected flavors, blends, and sensations. In addition to the collaboration with Häagen-Dazs for 'Cookies and Cream on the Grill', the main innovation is the 'Pizza margarita' nougat which perfectly captures the flavors of tomato, mozzarella and basil.
El case This nougat is different from the rest of the family and is inspired by classic square pizza boxes. The packaging design is an evolution of previous years' lines, incorporating new elements such as the use of neon inks that make the product stand out on the shelves, increase its visibility, and differentiate it from the competition. Both the materials and finishes are of high quality.
