Tecnicarton has received the Worldstar international packaging award for the design of its product for the transport of automobile engines that supports a weight of up to 14 tons with maximum safety due to its quadruple cardboard system. The award was collected by the director of the Technical department, Francisco Correa, and the director of the R + D + i department, Ernesto Mateu. The awards are promoted by the World Packaging Organization. In this case, the jury has valued the importance of reducing the weight of the packaging for transporting motors by 60% compared to the traditional wooden one, since it is made with quadruple corrugated cardboard, and also avoids possible accidents and damages for the operators in their driving.
