Tetra Pak launches the first complete fresh cheese production line

Tetra pak launches its first complete process line for products of fresh feta cheese, with a fully automated and integrated solution that guarantees manufacturers the highest level of food safety and speed in marketing.

In recent years, world cheese consumption has not stopped growing. The data managed by Tetra Pak confirm this and its forecast for the coming years is that the world market for this food will grow from 28 to 36,5 million tons in 2030, at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 2,4%. The latest data reveals that fresh cheese is one of the main drivers in the category, accounting for 30% of the growth volume in 2030.

“We wanted to make cheese production as simple as possible while allowing customers to explore new opportunities in the fresh cheese segment. By using closed and fully automated inline solutions, without manual contact with the product, we are helping our customers improve profitability, achieve high efficiency and minimize waste. Furthermore, with this new technology, the product will be safe and ready for consumption immediately after being packaged ”, he explains. This complete Tetra Pak cheese processing line has been designed to produce a wide range of fresh cheese products, using technologies that make it easy for customers to explore a new market segment and increase their current production capacity. The designed line works for the production among others of BAF (Bacteriologically Acidified Feta), using a hygienic and safe process to guarantee a long useful life of the product.

With more than 45 years of experience in cheese processing, Tetra Pak takes a new step in its commitment to the cheese industry, after last November it announced an investment of 25 million euros in a new manufacturing center in Poland dedicated to cheese.
