texen has manufactured this iconic container with new technical and aesthetic characteristics. In a limited edition for spring, it shows a refined look, a development that is the fruit of a new collaboration between House of Dior and Texen Industries.
The cover is made of ABS injected into the mold, which integrates the dedicated decoration, as well as the brand logo, before the application of a metallic layer in a silver tone. The foundation is created in two stages. First, the inner plate is injected with one of four colors to exactly match the reference of the powder it will contain. This leaflet is then placed in the press by a robot before overmolding its outer contour with SMMA injected glass. A silver border is hot stamped to highlight its rounded shape. The base and the lid are assembled with a pin and are kept closed thanks to a latch. The mirror inside the lid is originated and assembled by Texen.
