The shell, symbol of Venus by Nina Ricci

Nina Ricci

Venus by Nina Ricci Eau de Parfum is a radiant floral chypre featuring magnolia. The shell is the symbol chosen for its Art Deco style bottle, which is in keeping with the tradition of Lalique's sculptural bottles.

Design jar, a work by Pochet du Courval, is based on the contrast of elements: on the one hand, the two brushed gold shells that decorate the radiant glass of light, and on the other, the brilliant plug black with an organic silhouette (Novassu) engraved with the Nina Ricci logo and reminiscent of a pearl.

The complexity of the bottle required the use of a mould with moving parts. It is lacquered in amber. Scallop-shell-shaped brushed gold plates made of cold-forged aluminium are glued to the front and back of the bottle.

The 50 and 80ml formats can be refilled thanks to a spare part 200ml bottle that takes advantage of Techniplast's RT-Twist technology.

The fragrance comes in a case (Egisa) folding carton that uses an FSC-certified uncoated white substrate with a smooth surface. Hot stamping and black and gold embossing on two levels embellish the packaging.
