La Sirena, leading Spanish chain in frozen food, continues to bet on product innovation, working to expand its healthy and sustainable offer. With this, on this occasion it has incorporated into its linear a preparation for potato tortillas with onion and a pack of tuna loins with the MSC seal.
Thus, to get a juicy potato omelette, it will only be necessary to defrost one of the four bags containing the preparation for 5 minutes in the microwave at 850W, add the egg and let it curdle in the pan to taste.
On the other hand, as for the tuna loins, they are presented in a pack of 4 of 125g and the main novelty lies in its packaging chain pack, exclusive in retail, thus expanding the references that already have this format: salmon, cod and hake. This facilitates rapid defrosting by immersing the product in cold water. The tuna loins also have the MSC seal, which certifies that they come from responsible fisheries. Last June, La Sirena was recognized by the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) organization for its essential work promoting sustainable fishing during the past year, 2022. In this way, it received the award at the III edition of the Mares Awards Forever, in the category "Revelation supermarket in sustainable fishing", after having doubled the number of product references sold with the blue MSC seal.
