Circular Economy Awards

The BASF Group and Club of Excellence in Sustainability and with the collaboration of Green Efe as a media partner have opened the call for the fifth edition of the awards for the best practice of Circular Economy in Spain.

The objective of these awards is to recognize those projects and research works that, based on the circular economy, contribute or have the potential to contribute substantially to the development of business competitiveness in our country, with special attention to those projects that include the perspective of environmental and social sustainability in the development and object thereof. The period for receiving applications, which began today, will be open until next 23 of June 2023.

Carles navarro, general director of BASF Española, praises the will of both institutions to promote the circular economy throughout these five years. A commitment, he explains, aligned with BASF's “firm commitment to the circular economy and sustainability. On the one hand, we make efforts to circularize our own industrial processes and, on the other, as a chemical company, we research and develop solutions so that others find their way to the circular model. Any initiative aimed at promoting new models, products and services of these characteristics that are beneficial to society and the environment will have an ally in BASF. Now more than ever it is important to create chemistry for a sustainable future.”
