Verallia bets on Spain in 2018

Veralia It undertakes investments of more than 50 million euros in 2018. The company's investments in Spain will be distributed among the Azuqueca de Henares, Burgos, Seville and Zaragoza plants. The Zaragoza plant, in which it is expected to invest 20 million euros, is currently renovating its facilities. These improvements will be used to increase flexibility, capacity and modernize both the furnace and the production lines.

At Azuqueca de Henares, a plant that was fully modernized in 2017, the company will invest 5 million euros to add a new line and reach the production it previously had with two furnaces in spring. In Seville, during the second half of the year, the company will increase the production capacity of one of its packaging manufacturing lines. Finally, in Burgos, 30 million euros will be invested to equip this plant with new machines and a state-of-the-art furnace, which will add capacity to that of Azuqueca, with which the company will own the two largest in Europe.
